Cebu City - More than 400 participants, which include caregivers, mothers with their breastfed babies and 0-2 year old kids, husbands, teachers, students from the different colleges of nursing, nutrition & dietetic and food technology department, business sector, hospitals, RNCmembers and mall-goers, attended the event at the Entertainment Plaza of SM City Cebu last 01 July 2011.

The launching program started with aBreastfeeding Rally. This happened on 01 July 2011 at the Lower Ground Floor of SM City Cebu. Breastfeeding moms and BNSs from Cebu City, Mandaue City and Lapu-lapu City attended the event, as well as students from the different Colleges of Nursing and Colleges of Nutrition and Dietitics. The participants of the parade showed their purple ribbons pinned to their clothes as a sign that they support breastfeeding.
