Cebu City -- Working with greater responsiveness and sensitivity, the Federation of Barangay Nutrition Scholars Association of Region 7 (FeBaNuSA 7) met to strategize and put in place their plans, programs and projects for 2013. The caucus was held on December 17, 2012 at the board room of the Southern Islands Alumni Association Building in Osmeña Boulevard, Cebu City.
Dr. Parolita A. Mission, the regional nutrition program coordinator of NNC 7 presided the event.
In gearing up for 2013, workshops were first held to assess the highs and lows as well as the contributing factors that helped or hindered in the implementation of the 2012 programs and projects. Workshop results were integrated to the planning for the 2013 activities.
Fourteen of the twenty BNS federations/associations were represented. Among those who attended the meeting were Regional Federation Officers and BNS association presidents of barangay nutrition scholars association representing the province of Cebu and the cities of Bais, Bayawan, Bogo, Carcar, Canlaon, Danao, Dumaguete, Guihulngan, Lapu-lapu, Mandaue, Naga, Talisay and Toledo. // DFB
