NNC 7 organizes a Thank You Celebration for RD Madarieta

Cebu City -  To celebrate the six productive years of RD Susana K. Madarieta being the Chairperson of Central Visayas Regional Nutrition Committee, the National Nutrition Council 7 along with the chair/ representatives of the different Nutrition Organizations converged to have a small send-off party in her honor. This was held on March 6, 2012 at the Board Room A, Club Ultima, Cebu City.

Present during the gathering was Ms. Melinda D. Cañares, chair of the Regional Nutrition Committee – Technical Working Group, Ms. Maria Luisa G. Delantar, president of the Federation of Barangay Nutrition Scholars Association 7 (FeBaNuSA 7) along with FeBaNuSA  7 Treasurer, Ms. Lucia Arellano , Ms. Anabelle C. Lagrosas, VP for Radio of the Media Information Network for Nutrition and  Development 7 (MIND 7), Ms. Florita A. Olandria, VP of Nutrition Program Coordinators Association of Region 7 (NPCAR 7)and NNC 7 staff. 

The short program consisted of messages from the chair/presidents of the different Nutrition Organizations namely RNC – TWG, FeBaNuSA 7, NPCAR 7, MIND 7 and Nutrition Action Officers of the Philippines Association 7 (NAOPA 7) which circled around in appreciation to RD Madarieta for her competent leadership, laudable support, encouragement and significant contribution in the implementation of the nutrition program in Region VII as Chairperson of the Central Visayas Regional Nutrition Committee for CY 2006-2011.

The NNC 7 RNPC Parolita A. Mission and staff also shared words of gratitude to RD Madarieta. In her response, RD Madarieta thanked everyone for the warm words and the dedication that each has contributed for the Nutrition Program in Region VII. She also shared that among the attached agencies of the DOH, NNC7 is closest to her and she did not experience any problem with the activities of RNC because everything is always prepared for.

Although it was tear filled gathering, everyone present had a festive smile and with a happy heart pass on good wishes to RD Madarieta in her new assignment as RD of DOH – CHD Region VI.
