hi5 logoDalaguete, Cebu – NNC 7 joins the DOH-RO 7’s High Impact 5 (hi-5) caravan in one of the Central Visayas’ major vegetable supplier: Barangay Mantalongon, Dalaguete, Cebu as the agency pushed for its services to be known in the area on 23 October 2015.

The last of the ASAPP Priority 1 municipalities in Region 7 to be visited by the Hi-5 caravan, the municipality of Dalaguete ranked 16th of the highest prevalence rate in the region during the 2014th OPT with a prevalence rate of 10.95% or at least 1 of every 10 preschool children being undernourished. Baguio and BNS Coordinator Lucia C. Arellano were joined by Dalaguete, Cebu Municipal Nutrition Program Coordinator Mary Cherry Osorio in providing the 4 communities (PWD/Elderly, Men, Women, & Youth), each with more than a hundred participants, with appropriate nutrition education.
