Cebu City – Beginning September 2021, NNC 7’s will merge its three-monthly online educational programs namely, Letters for Doc Letlet, May ‘K’ ka sa F1K, and e-HISGOT. This is to streamline the region’s advocacy efforts in promoting good nutrition with focus on the First 1000 Days.

The unified virtual program will retain the name “e-HISGOT” which stands for educational Health and Nutrition Information-Sharing Geared tOwards DevelopmenT. Said program will be composed of three (3) segments. The first segment will feature a health and nutrition concern raised by a letter sender preferably aligned with the health celebration of the month. This will be followed by sharing of different advices from the live viewers.

The second segment will be composed of the technical discussion on the topic featured and shall highlight the key messages of the First 1000 Days as well as the messages on the 10 Kumainments and Pinggang Pinoy, as appropriate. The entire program will continue to banner the region’s statement that everyone has a role to play in the First 1000 Days of a child’s life. Hence, “May Kalambigitan ka sa F1K” or my K ka sa F1K to encourage mothers, caregivers, and family members to be more involved in rearing #Laking1000Days children.

NNC 7 will continue to feature frequently asked questions related to the topic through the “VoxPop or Voice of the People” segment which will be uploaded prior to the live program. Nutri Quizzes will also be given within the program to measure the knowledge of the viewers
