Cebu City – Social media has been an effective medium to advocate for health and nutrition campaigns nowadays considering the minimal movement of the majority and that most families stay at home. This along with the other media formats were utilized by the public as their source of information.

After the successful conduct of the Family Development Sessions (FDS) On-Air, NNC 7 together with the DSWD RFO7 and the three Nutriskwela community radio stations in Central Visayas will soon launch the FDS Social Media Challenge this coming October 2021.

The online challenge will be dubbed “Nutri Word Puzzle” and will be open to all beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) in Central Visayas. The said activity intends to incorporate the importance of proper nutrition to the 4Ps beneficiaries and their families.

One nutrition question will be posted every Wednesday via National Nutrition Council Region 7’s official Facebook Page. Options will be provided through a crossword puzzle which will also be attached to the weekly question. The same question will also be asked during the weekly programming in the three (3) Nutriskwela Community radios along with the discussion.

One lucky winner will be randomly chosen each week and will receive P100 worth of load given that they liked NNC 7’s Official Facebook page, as well as share and like the weekly Nutri Word Puzzle.

Meanwhile, catch the FDS on-air sessions weekly through the Facebook pages of the three nutriskwela community radio stations in Central Visayas, namely Radyo Kaigsoonan in Zamboanguita, Negros Oriental, Radyo Kahimsug in Barili, Cebu, and Radyo Kalampusan in San Francisco, Cebu.
