Cebu City—The Christmas season is here! A lot of exciting things are coming, that includes multiple invitation for Christmas parties. Many dishes are prepared during Christmas dinner from small pica picas, to lechon, to the family’s favorite dessert. Staying fit and healthy during this season is a challenge. Sticking to your usual diet will be tested during this holiday season. Mentioned in this article are some tips for you!

Tip #1 Don’t overeat

Delicious meals are served at the table like hamon, quezo de bola, pancit guisado, lechon and many more. Make sure that you know when to stop eating and know your limit. As much as possible try to eat a balance diet. Follow the Pinggang Pinoy and eat a variety of food.

Tip #2 Be active!

Invitations after invitations for dinners with families or group of friends are to be expected during this Yuletide season. The food consumed might be too much for the body to handle. A way to help your body is by doing physical activities. Exercising at least 30 minutes a day can already help your body.

Tip #3 Steer clear from fatty and oily foods 

Fried or oily foods can be seen in a Christmas table. Try your best to consume less of the fried foods served. This tip is best for people who have comorbidities like hypertension and those who have problems with their cholesterol levels. 

Christmas dinner or Noche Buena with the whole family is a heart-warming experience especially when each member of the family is present at the dinner table.
