Cebu City - The new year is the opportunity to start over or to start something new in your life. Some old bad habits must be left in the past year and make way to new and better habits for a fresh start. Here are three resolutions you can add to your list:

1.Stay hydrated!

Try to achieve the goal to at least drink 2.5 liters or eight (8) to ten (10) glasses of water per day. Staying hydrated during the day ensures that you have normal body temperature, make certain that the cells are healthy, keeps the organs in their rhythm and many more. Not only water can hydrate your body but other food sources as well like watermelon, cucumber, citrus fruits and the like.

2. Aim to incorporate vegetable and fruits in every meal

The Pinggang Pinoy has been there to guide Filipinos on what to eat in every meal, but applying it in real life is kind of challenging. This year let us try our best to adapt a healthy mealtime.

3. Be in control on how much too eat

Our body has its desired calorie requirement per day so let us strive to have control on the amount of food we eat in a day. Constant excess in calories that are stored in the body and when not in use, the body might find it hard to burn those calories.
