Cebu City - The new year is here and together with this promising year are the new resolutions that we promise to do for the rest of the year. One resolution or promise one can make is by having a more active lifestyle. Goodbye to the old sedentary lifestyle and hello to a healthier habit.

The National Nutrition Council Region VII team has started its year with their daily Zumba afternoon session. The team will have their 30 minutes to an hour daily Zumba fitness exercise, videos from Zumba instructors serves as guide for the team to follow.

The Regional Nutrition Program Coordinator Dr. Parolita “Letlet” Mission also joins her team with their fitness program. Any form of physical activity during the day or workhours helps the body release endorphins which triggers a positive feeling of emotions, which helps lighten up the work environment.

The year 2021 was a very challenging year for most of us, with the new variant of COVID-19 and the devastation brought by the super typhoon Odette in Central Visayas. This year let us manifest that all our resolutions, wants and goals are achieved in the coming days, weeks, and months.
