Balilihan, Bohol - Having spent solid seventeen (17) years as Municipal Nutrition Program Coordinator (MNPC) in the Town of Balilihan, Bohol Province, the 2021 Regional Outstanding Municipal Nutrition Program Coordinator, Ms. Charisma G. Tagsa, has the passion and dedication that enabled her to be an effective facilitator of her town’s nutrition program implementation.

Ardent in her task of ensuring the good health and well-being of children and mothers, facilitates the activation of her Municipal Nutrition Committee (MNC). As coordinator, she spearheads the implementation of relevant programs and activities with proper planning engaging the community every step of the way. Together with her MNC, she has established the “Nutrihut” and inspired the BNS in addressing the nutritional needs of children thereby reducing malnutrition, particularly underweight and stunted growth.

To realize her plans efficiently and effectively, she makes certain that the municipal budget is desirably in place as she likewise maintains rapport with her clients and people closely working with her.

Through her commitment, perseverance, and hard work, LGU Balilihan has become a recipient of various commendations from the National Nutrition Council bringing honor and pride to the town and its people.

MNPC Tagsa also serves as the Treasurer of the Bohol MNPC Association since the year 2014 which only proves her impressive technical, financial, and social skills and integrity in making business decisions. //NGS
