Talibon, Bohol – The officers and members of the Central Visayas Association of Nutrition Action Officers Inc. (CeVANAO, Inc.) shared their insights and learning of the Learning Hub for Enhanced and Revitalized Nutrition (LHEARN) during the association’s 3rd meeting held on 17 November 2022 at the town’s Saggunian Bayan session hall.
ND II Franz Cassandra R. Ontina facilitated the sharing session of Nutrition Action Officers who all agreed to apply the learnings gained in their respective LGUs. They also put forward their observations and areas of improvement to the host LGU. CeVANAO, Inc. Treasurer and CNAO of Cebu City Ms. Emma F. Seville revealed her amazement at the municipal’s nutrition program management and coordination within the committee. The association’s Immediate Past President Ms. Lourdes Taburaza also expressed her recognition of the involvement of many departments including the Assessor’s Office in the nutrition program and the role they play in the Municipal Nutrition Committee.
During the meeting, CeVANAO, Inc. Executive Vice President and CNAO of Carcar City, Dr. Felmar M. Deza also facilitated the evaluation of the 17th Regional Congress for Nutrition Action Officers while its President and CNAO of Bais City, Dr. Ma. Corazon R. Cablao enabled the review of 2022 workplan and planning for the 2023 activities which will focus on strengthening the MNAO associations in the 4 provinces of the region.
