Cortes, Bohol Province – The Municipal Nutrition Committee of Cortes spearheaded by its Chair and Municipal Mayor Hon. Lynn Iven P. Lim conducted a Program Implementation Review (PIR). The review was held on 28 December 2022 in the municipal conference room.

The PIR is an annual activity conducted by the MNC to review, assess, and evaluate programs, projects, and services to find out the extent of their implementation and determine its impact to the intended clients. The major objectives are to measure the success of project implementation, ascertain how well objectives were reached, draw lessons for the future, and make sure the organization benefits the most from initiatives like business continuity planning.

The evaluation session was led by MNAO Mairene Uy with DNPCs Ardin Abrea and Kristine Vano of the provincial nutrition council providing technical assistance.

Representatives from the outstanding and low-performing Barangay Nutrition Councils, as well as all the Barangay Nutrition Scholars and all MNC members, attended the activity. At the conclusion of the one-day review, the MNC was able to identify its strengths and flaws and defined its steps forward to further improve its nutrition program implementation. // DMO II Jenelyn A.
