Cebu City – Emphasizing the importance of regular documentation, the National Nutrition Council Region VII (NNC 7) reminds members of the Regional Management Conference of the regular local nutrition committee (LNC) reports for submission to ensure the completeness of reports in 2023.
With most of the nutrition committees returning to their regular programming, submission of reports is important so that both the LNC and the NNC 7 could track nutrition program implementation.
As the NNC 7 organizes its first Regional Management Conference for the year attended by provincial and city nutrition action officers and local nutrition program coordinators on 26-27 January 2023 at the St. Mark Hotel and Suites in Cebu City, the NNC 7’s surveillance team made it a point to discuss several important LGU reports to be submitted to the regional office.
Ms. Franz Cassandra R. Ontina of NNC 7’s nutrition surveillance desk highlighted that reports and documentation are “receipts of the LNC’s efforts and could be a basis for identifying good practices and gaps for improved implementation in the future.”
Ms. Ontina added that these documents are also helping support awards and recognition.
Discussed are regular reports such as the OPT Plus report, the local nutrition committee functionality report, local nutrition cluster functionality reports, LNAP accomplishment reports, nutrition month reports, BNS masterlists, and many more.
LGUs are asked to be guided by the schedule as seen in this article’s photo support for regular reporting schedules. To know more about the different reports, tune in every Sunday for a discussion of each report above and how to prepare these documents. // NO III Nasudi G. Soluta, RND
