The newly elected officers of the Association of Regional Nutrition Officers of the Philippines, Inc.  (ARNOP) took their oath before the Assistant Secretary of Health and NNC Executive Director Maria- Bernardita T. Flores on 2 March 2017 at the National Nutrition Council Office, Taguig City.
The elected set of officers for 2017-2019 are President Emerenciana L. Francia, NNC-National Capital Region; Vice-President Nimfa D. Ekong, NNC Region IX; Secretary Lourdes B. Orongan, NNC Region 4-A; Treasurer Gladys Mae Fernandez, NNC Rregion XII; Auditor Hannah Farinah M. Lidasan, NNC Region ARMM; Business Manager Marilyn C. Valeza, NNC Region V; PRO Nińo Archie S. Labordo, NNC Region VIII. Likewise, eleven (11) Board Members are selected: Kendall Pilgrim, NNC Region I; John Nestor L. Ballad, NNC Region II; Bella M. Basalong, NNC Region CAR; Angelita M. Pasos, NNC Region III; Hannah Christina P. Clemente, NNC Region IV-B; Sheryl C. Sedantes, NNC Region VI; Nasudi G. Soluta, NNC Region VII; Sheila Rose C. Balbanida, NNC Region X; Retsebeth M. Laquihon, NNC Region XI; Leah Vina P. Vargas, NNC CARAGA Region.
ARNOP is an association envisioned to develop efficient and effective regional nutrition officers through capacity building and enhancement of knowledge and skills in various practices.
The ARNOP elected its officers on 27 February 2017 during the conduct of its First Meeting at the National Nutrition Council (NNC) Board Room.
