MAASIN CITY - NNC8 headed by Dr.Catalino P. Do
tollo Jr. together with his staff PNFP Limbagan attended the 1st City Nutrition Committee (CNC) Meeting of Maasin City.
Officers and Representatives from DILG, City Health Office (CHU 1 & 3), PDOHO, CDRRMO, Office of the City Agriculture(OCAG), City Budget Office, DepEd, CPDO, CSWDO, Barangay Nutrition Scholar (BNS), Maasin BNS President, SJC and PIA attended the meeting.
Agenda of the meeting: (1) Re-organization of City Nutrition Committee for yr.2022; (2) Presentation of Budget 2022; (3) Updates on Nutritional Status of Pre-Schoolers and School Children; (4) Accomplishment Report of each member agency; (5) Awards and Recognition; (6) Reorientation and Nutrition Program Updates by RNPC Dotollo.
Moreover, RNPC Dotollo handed over the cash awards to CNPC Michelle Marie Siega as the 2019 Regional Local Nutrition Program Coordinator of the Year and BNS Rosita Acsibar as the 2019 Regional Outstanding Barangay Nutrition Scholar (ROBNS).
Maasin City was also given the Hall of Fame Award on IYCF Pabasa sa Nutrisyon, LGU with Lowest Malnutrition Prevalence in OPT+, and one of the LGUs that conducted MELLPI (Certificate of Appreciation) during the 2021 Regional Nutrition Awarding Ceremony.
