MARCH 19, 2022 - PNFP Irene Dagami paid a courtesy call to Municipal Agrarian Reform Program Officer (MARPO) Jose Arropo.

PNFP Dagami introduced the Tutok Kainan Dietary Supplementation Program and scheduled a visit with two ARBOs, the Roxas II Farmer's Association represented by Mr. Wilfredo Senario and the Brgy. Panoypoy ARBO.

MARPO Arropo accompanied PNFP Dagami to Brgy. Panoypoy on the 19th of which 23 members and proxies attended. The Calbayog ARBOs are potential suppliers to island LGUs Tagapul-an and Sto. Nino, and Matuguinao.

MARPO Arropo also mentioned to the assembly the "MAY BUHAY SA GULAY" project of DAR which intends to promote backyard gardening and cascade proper planting knowledge and planting innovations to the ARBOs.

The combination of the two PPAs--a nutrition sensitive to support a nutrition specific intervention-- can potentially give birth to a more sustainable intervention to address the cases of malnutrition and lack of employability options in the society.
