Nutrition and health workers in San Ricardo, Southern Leyte has continued its outpatient therapeutic care in managing moderate and severely wasted children through is weekly ration of Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF).

This also includes routine assessment and family counselling.

In addition, the Provincial Health Services Office of Southern Leyte has conducted its second round of RUTF distribution the municipalities of Padre Burgos, Malitbog, Tomas Oppus, Libagon, Sogod, St. Bernard, Anahawan, Hinunangan and Silago in Southern Leyte.
