PALO, Leyte – The Eastern Visayas Regional Nutrition Evaluation Team (RNET) convened for the Monitoring and Evaluation of Local Level Plan Implementation (MELLPI) on nutrition in the Province of Southern Leyte.

Among the RNET members present were Ms. Pauline Liza Nadera-DSWD RFO8 and Ms. Jobelynn Dela Cruz-DSWD RFO8, Mr. Ian Kurt Sarmiento-UNICEF, Mr. Marcelo Pedalino-PIA, and NNC 8 staff Ms. Annabel Limbagan and Ms. Danielle April Miralles.

The team evaluated the 2021 nutrition program implementation of the province and city of Maasin on August 30 and 31, 2022, respectively.

The team also validated the Outstanding Regional Nutrition Focal Point, specifically the City Nutrition Program Coordinator of Maasin City, on September 1 and the Regional Outstanding Barangay Nutrition Scholar of Maasin City on September 2. #DMOII-ABL
