World Childrens DayWorld Children's Day was first established in 1954 as Universal Children's Day and is celebrated on 20 November each year to promote international togetherness, awareness among children worldwide, and improving children's welfare. It was since then celebrated annually all over the world.

This year’s theme is Inclusion, For Every Child. On 20 November, kids will stand up for a more equal, inclusive world," says the UN website.

In the Philippines, it is a month-long celebration every November of each year. The celebration aims to give Filipino children access to a healthy environment, good education, and healthcare.

The Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN) spells out nutrition specific, sensitive, and enabling programs which ensure that every child is supported and protected so they will be healthier and well-nourished to enjoy life to the fullest.

The framework also ensures that no child is left behind with right and adequate nutrition and health interventions. #RNPC-CPD
