The NNC-NCR Achieve Team (from left to right): AA IV Obet Leyva, NO I Bea Menorca, AA VI Jovy Parian, NPC Mila Federizo, NO II Thesa Rivas, NO III Meren Francia, AA VI Sarah Bautista and AA VI Steph Bactad. The National Nutrition Council – NCR (NNC-NCR) Achieve Team had its annual teambuilding activity on September 21-22, 2017 at the Piña Colina Resort in Tagaytay City with the aim of dissolving or preventing group barriers and creating a better team.

Guided by the theme “Achieve! Work hard. Stay positive. Make it happen”, the activity served as a good opportunity for the group to discover and understand each other’s strengths and weaknesses.  This helped the group become more united and closely knit not just as a team but as a family.

The group first visited Our Lady of Lourdes Church and Little Souls Convent to start the day with the blessings of God and to offer their prayers of thanks for all the guidance and blessings.  After having their sumptuous lunch at the Mahogany Market, the group then headed to Piña Colina Resort for the teambuilding exercises.

With Ms. Marlene Viray of Grace Family Helper Project facilitating the activities, the group were able to get to know each other better and appreciate the essence of team work.  Having different individuals working in a very dynamic environment is really a challenge.  Through the teambuilding activity, the group was able to reflect, recharge and renew their commitment to work collectively to achieve performance targets.

Success does not just happen. The group must make it happen. With renewed determination and passion for their work, the NNC-NCR Achieve Team vows to stay positive and continue to work hard as a team to achieve the NNC’s goals and objectives. (TAR/NPC MEVF/NNC-NCR)
