NNC NCR Program Implementation Review 2022“In order to move forward, you have to look back.” – Matt Maher

The National Nutrition Council – NCR (NNC-NCR) Achieve Team looked back on their accomplishments and experiences in 2021 to set the right goals moving forward this 2022.

In a program implementation review (PIR) held on January 24, 2022, the team reviewed their accomplishments vis-à-vis the approved 2021 Work and Financial Plan and identified both areas to sustain and for improvement. Accomplishments were presented in percentage following the rating: Poor (<75%), Fair (75-89%); and Very Satisfactory (90-120%). Activities with >120% accomplishment were also noted as exceeding target but concerning.

The PIR was presided by Regional Nutrition Program Coordinator Milagros Elisa V. Federizo and attended by three (3) technical and two (2) administrative personnel.

Considering the COVID-19 situation, most of the regional activities were still held virtually in 2021. Most of the activities conducted had a Very Satisfactory rating. Aside from the approved activities, the team also had a lot of unplanned activities conducted in 2021. However, some areas that need to be improved include the preparation and submission of activity design/concept paper and reports, scheduling of activities, and budget utilization and liquidation.

RNPC Federizo congratulated the team for the hard work and commitment that they have shown amidst the challenges and problems encountered due to the pandemic. She hopes that the results of the PIR will be the springboard for better accomplishments this year.

“I-welcome natin ang mga makikita natin na areas for improvement para makaisip tayo ng paraan to meet our targets in the 2022 Work and Financial Plan,” RNPC Federizo said.

Keeping this in mind, the NNC-NCR Achieve Team commits to perform better and accomplish more this 2022!
