The Federation of Barangay Nutrition Scholar (BNS) of NCR, Inc. elected its Officers and Board members for CY 2023-2025 during the meeting held on September 9, 2022 at the NNC Boardroom, Taguig City.

The new set of officers was elected from the presidents of the BNS Association of the seventeen (17) local government units in Metro Manila. The conduct of election was done through secret balloting supervised by the National Nutrition Council – NCR headed by Regional Nutrition Program Coordinator Milagros Elisa V. Federizo. However, representatives from the cities of Caloocan, Navotas and Valenzuela were not present during the election.

The new set of Board of Directors for 2023-2025 is composed of the following:

President: Mary Ann G. Morada (Mandaluyong City)
Vice President: Angel Anne S. Ambas (Muntinlupa City)
Secretary: Shailendra M. Dela Cruz (City of Manila)
Assistant Secretary: Alicia C. Claudio (Makati City)
Treasurer: Maria Emeline R. Dela Cruz (Las Piñas City)
Auditor: Gina C. Santos (San Juan City)
PRO: Aiza P. Magpantay (Pasay City)

Board Members:
Rowena A. Aquino (Caloocan City)
Marlene F. Dollar (Malabon City)
Geraldine G. Gonzales (Navotas City)
Ma. Cristina G. Decapia (Valenzuela City)
Milagros A. Rodriguez (Marikina City)
Arceli Flores M. Caro (Parañaque City)
Maria Jiazmin C. Cagoyong (Pasig City)
Ofelia C. Juanani (Taguig City)
Emily O. Velarde (Municipality of Pateros)

There was no representative from Quezon City. President-elect Morada appointed BNS Claudio as Assistant Secretary. In addition, incumbent President Mary Grace P. Tamayo will serve as the Ex-Officio for the next term.

President-elect Morada thanked everyone for the trust and support given to her. She hopes that together with the new set of officers and board members, the Federation will be able to achieve more.

All officers of the Federation shall hold office for three (3) years until their successors are duly elected and qualified.
