NNC Calabarzon was highly honored in all six (6) categories of NNC 2nd Quarter Special Webby Awards for its commendable and outstanding performances in the management of the “NNC Webpage and Social Media Accounts.” The event was held last October 2 during the 3rd Management Conference Series 2020 in the presence of the NNC Web Team and Regional Web Publishers.
Overall, NNC Calabarzon garnered championship for the ”Most Visited Webpage (2,107 unique visitors), “Highest Number of Likes” (8,920 Facebook Page Likes), “Highest Social Media Engagement” (275,656 engaged users in Facebook Page), “Highest Social Media Reach” (3,715,411 average reach), and “Most Visible Social Media Account” (299,844 page consumption and visibility). The agency also won 2nd runner-up for the “Highest Number of Articles Posted.” All award categories were judged and based on “Webpage and Facebook Analytics.”
The virtual launching and awarding ceremony started with an opening message from Ms. Ellen Ruth F. Abella, Nutrition Officer IV and OIC of the Nutrition Surveillance Division (NSD). Mr. Daniel G. Salunga, Nutrition Officer II of NSD and host of the awarding, gave a short background on the awards, categories, and description through an “Audio-Visual Launch Presentation.”
In her message of inspiration, NNC’s Executive Director, Dr. Azucena M. Dayanghirang, expressed hopes that the awards will give encouragement and motivation to the rest of the regional offices.
The Annual Webby Awards was initiated in 2014 to set the standard of excellence in the content and overall management of the NNC webpage and official social media accounts. It is likely that the conduct of Quarterly Special Webby Awards will continue to inspire the regional offices to recognize and support the importance of the public’s wider engagement in NNC’s digital presence.
