Quezon City – In  the recent  “2020 Regional Nutrition Awarding Ceremony (RNAC),” NNC Calabarzon awarded “The Best Social Media Account for Nutrition” to  Cavite province (for the Provincial Level Category),  and  to   Bacoor City (for the  City Level Category).

For the Municipal Level Category, the same award was given to  Kalayaan, Laguna (as Champion),  to  Magdalena, Laguna (as first  placer),  and to   Los Banos, Laguna  (as second placer).

The DOST IV-A Facebook Page  also received the award In the Regional Line Agency Category.  In addition, special recognition was given to Radyo Kaisahan 107.7 FM in Sariaya, Quezon for winning the “Best External Contributor Award.”

NNC Calabarzon also named the following 13  “Top Fans of the  NNC Calabarzon Facebook Page” (with the corresponding period covered as fans):  Maria Cecilia Cruz Bautista (11 months);  Julie Ann Gatdula (10 months); Jocelyn Francisa (9 months);  Eva Mercado    ( 9 months);  Selim Cabrera Pena (9 months);  Nitz De Lemios (8 months); Gloria Gutierrez (8 months); Josephine Lim (8 months);  Armalyn Junio Sabino ( 6 months); Ma. Elena Calderon Garcia (6 months); Madeleine Menguito Alforja (6 months); and Susan Molina (6 months).

This year’s RNAC included the Webby Awards as an expression of support,  appreciation and recognition to the LGUs and RLAs dedicated to  the promotion of good nutrition by  actively posting  highly engaging and relevant nutrition and  nutrition related activities and articles in respective  Facebook Page and Accounts. This year’s RNAC was a success in collaboration with Communicators’ Network for Nutrition in Region IV-A.
