QUEZON CITY – Fourteen  City and Municipal Nutrition Action Officer retirees of Calabarzon were given  an award  for their exemplary efforts   and outstanding performance in the past years’ implementation  of the PPAN. The event was held   last December 10 during the “2020 Calabarzon Virtual Regional Nutrition Awarding Ceremony” in Greenhills Elan Modern Hotel.

The  awardees were : Ms. Luciana  Manalo (Batangas City);  Ms. Cecilia  Perez (Taysan, Batangas); Ms. Ruena  Causapin (Rosario, Batangas); Ms. Merlinda  Biscocho (San Nicolas, Batangas); Ms. Doriminda  Atienza (Taal, Batangas); Ms. Ma. Luisia Famini (Kawit, Cavite); Dr. Evangelina Manzo (Alfonso, Cavite); Dr. Maria Cerezo (Los Banos, Laguna); Ms. Amor  Moncada (Liliw, Laguna); Ms. Myrna Dela Pena (Rizal, Laguna); Ms. Elsie  Goma (Pagsanjan, Laguna); Ms, Ludivina Maranan (Lumban, Laguna); Dr. Rene V. Luce (Tanay, Rizal); and Ms, Ludy De Castro (San Juan, Batangas). Their  awards   will be personally distributed to LGUs next year.

NNC Calabarzon’s grateful recognition of the commitment and dedication of the CNAOs and MNAOs for the period 2018 and 2010 were inscribed in the plaques as follows: “This service award is given to (Name) in grateful recognition and sincere gratitude for ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of nutrition and nutrition-related programs under the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN) as well as the conduct of meaningful undertakings as the Nutrition Action Officer of Calabarzon.”
