The accomplishments of CNN-4A for the year 2020 were highlighted during the 7th CNN-4A Meeting. The 10 Kumainments videos produced by CNN-4A in 2018 had a successful re-run on Facebook from October 12 and will last till December 21, 2020. However, it was CNN-4A’s Nutrikomiks which top billed this year’s campaign and which came out with a special issue which focused on the nutrition and well-being of pregnant women.
Four radio plugs were aired this year -- two of which were developed and produced by CNN-4A. The two additional materials developed by CNN-4A, will likewise be aired in 2021.
Seven meetings were conducted with the group where the promotion of knowledge and practice of good nutrition through different media platforms were prioritized. They also discussed the “Treasurer’s Report” and Ms. Balquiedra gave an update on the fund status of the organization.
The participants of the conference recommended several activities for 2021, including a virtual Buntis Caravan which is about “Teenage Reproductive Health,” and a 30-seconds to one minute multimedia clip and infographics, among others. Photo contests and another series of Nutrikomiks will also be included to specifically focus on achieving “Zero Hunger.”
