Dr. Azucena M. Dayanghirang, NNC’s Executive Director, extended her warmest congratulations to all the awardees of the 4th Quarter 2020 NNC Webby Award, including NNC Calabarzon who was awarded the Winner for the “Most Syndicated Webpage and Social Media Account.” The awarding ceremony was held during the 1st Management Conference, series 2021 last March 17, 2021.
NNC Calabarzon also garnered the awards for two other categories: ”Most Visited Webpage (with a total of 16,217 “unique visitors”) ; and 1st runner-up for the “Highest Social Media Reach” (summing up 497,970 viewers).
Once again, NNC IV-A has made a big impact in its exemplary performances in management of “NNC Webpage and Social Media Account.” In meeting the highest criteria based on “Webpage and Facebook Analytics” for the world wide web, it has been ensuring a highly visible, dynamic, and relevant webpage and has been optimizing the promotion of good nutrition and nutrition related activities.
Dr. Dayanghirang also called for sustained motivation to continue excellent performances in management of respective webpage and social media accounts.
In hindsight, the webby awards have been perpetually inspiring the NNC staff in regional offices to move further and be recognized for their hard work and for spreading relevant and timely nutrition and nutrition related activities using social media platforms – despite the risks brought by the pandemic.
The web activities have also been constantly and continuously raising nutrition related awareness among the majority who have been using the social media as main and ongoing sources of information during the pandemic.
The excitement-filled event will always remain of great value. It was hosted by Mr. Daniel Salunga, Nutrition Officer II and Ms. Camille Hari, Nutrition Officer II of Nutrition Surveillance Division.
