CALABARZON Regional Sub-Committee on Nutrition (RSCN) conducted its 1st meeting for this year on 23 June 2011 at the Executive Hall, Fernandina 88 Suites Hotel, Cubao, Quezon City. The RSCN member agencies discussed the results of the 2010 Search for the Regional Outstanding Barangay Nutrition Scholar (ROBNS), updates on the Infant and Young Child Feeding Training and Local Media Placements, Campaign on Measles Rubella Supplemental Immunization and updates on Supplementary Feeding Program.

The RSCN member agencies present during the meeting were: 1. Center for Health Development (Chair), 2. National Nutrition Council (Co-Chair), members: 3. Department of Agriculture, 4. Bureau of Food and Aquatic Resources, 5. Non-Government Organization, 6. National Food Authority, 7. Department of Science and Technology, 8. Department of Agrarian Reform, 9. Department of Education, 9. Department of Trade and Industry, 10. Department of Labor and Employment, 11. Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, 12. Department of Social Welfare and Development, and 13. Department of Interior and Local Government.

The RSCN member agencies is supposed to meet on a quartely basis to discuss updates and accomplishments of each agency .
