Former Nutrition Action Officers’ Association of the Philippines (NAOPA) - Calabarzon President, Teresita S. Ramos recently congratulated the new set of CY 2023-2025 NAOPA Calabarzon officers. They are:
President : Engr. Emilma U. Pello, CNAO of Tagaytay City (Cavite)
Vice President: Mr. Reymundo Razon, MNAO of Sariaya (Quezon)
Secretary : Ms. Milagros Adriano, MNAO of Rodriguez (Rizal)
Asst. Secretary: Ms. Clara Pilapil, CNAO of Calaca City (Batangas)
Treasurer : Ms. Carmencita T. Catindig, CNAO of Santa Rosa City (Laguna)
Auditor : Mr. Edgardo dela Cruz, MNAO of Carmona (Cavite)
PRO : Ms. Marinel Chong, CNAO of Tayabas (Quezon), and Ms. Jellen Macatangay, MNAO of Cuenca (Batangas)
Simultaneously, the new NAOPA President, CNAO Engr. Pello, gave her commitment for a stronger leadership to ensure the fulfillment of the duties and responsibilities of the new officers, particularly now that they will be representing all the provinces in the region.
It was pleasing to note that the officers assured all the NAOs in the region during the recently held 1st Calabarzon NAOs General for 2023 that they will be more productive, innovative and inspire one another to always be in solidarity to uphold and protect the rights, duties and responsibilities of every NAO to ensure the improvement of the nutrition situation in their respective LGUs and region.
The election was attended by a total of 100 participants composed of Provincial, City and Municipal NAOs and the NNC Secretariat. The General Assembly was presided by former NAOPA President PNAO Teresita Ramos of Laguna Province, together with RNPC Carina Z. Santiago via zoom.
Prior to the election, a NAOPA Calabarzon resolution was created and finalized allowing the creation of additional positions for Assistant Secretary, and one additional PRO.
