Spearheaded by its Nutrition Surveillance Division, the National Nutrition Council (NNC) conducted an End Users’ Training on the ECCD F1K Reporting System, on 5-7 and 12-14 November 2019 at the Asian Institute of Management Conference Center, Makati City. Health and nutrition staff from the provinces of Pangasinan, Nueva Vizcaya, Rizal, Quezon, Occidental Mindoro, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Iloilo, Negros Occidental, Cebu, Leyte, Samar, Zamboanga del Sur, Davao del Sur and Davao Occidental, as well as select Nutrition Officers from NNC Regional Offices of NCR, MIMAROPA, I, II, III, V, VI, VII, VIII, X, XI, CARAGA and BARMM participated in the 3-day training.
The web-based ECCD F1K reporting system enables multi-level program managers to easily track delivery of ECCD-related services, progress of individual pregnant women, lactating mothers and children 0-23 months as well as overall municipal/city-based program accomplishments versus the programmed results. The system also allows reduced time in writing and preparing reports since workers can already encode and transmit reports real-time without printing. The system allows off-line encoding and generates SMS-enabled notifications. Workers can therefore use the system using mobiles and tablets, with or without continuous internet connection.
