Tasked with helping our constituents meet their nutritional or dietary needs, Bayambang’s Municipal Nutrition Committee sees to it that everything is based on a solid plan and the implementation is well-executed, followed by close monitoring and evaluation to ensure a sustainable strategy.
Foremost, there is the three-year Local Nutrition Action Plan upon which are anchored all the various local programs, projects and activities that were set out to do within three years.

They say that dedication and hard work pays off. They also say that if you find a job you enjoy, you will never have to get weary of it. For Burgos, Ilocos Norte, such is the case. We are always grateful to the National Nutrition Council and the Regional Nutrition Council for recognizing the efforts of the Municipal Nutrition Committee of Burgos, Ilocos Norte for the 2nd consecutive year. Although we are still to surmount the hurdle of establishing an actual officer for the plantilla and personnel for staffing, we are always grateful to the National Nutrition Council and the Regional Nutrition Council.

The City of Alaminos, home of the Hundred Islands, is located in the Western part of the Province of Pangasinan. Blessed with about 20 km of shoreline, the City is one of the major bangus and fish producers & suppliers in Northern Luzon. Along with this, the city also boasts vast tracts of fertile land suitable for farming variety of low-land produce all year-round. With these available resources at hand, the City Government believes in the importance of taking up a pro-active part in setting standards in good governance to promote holistic development and highlighting the role of proper nutrition to its people working together to achieve a healthy and progressive city.

Vigan City, the capital town of Ilocos Sur, is a 4th class component city located on the western coast of the large island of Luzon, facing the West Philippine Sea. It is one of the few cities with history of preserved Spanish and Asian architecture that resulted to being recognized as one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites and one of the 7 Wonder Cities of the World. But more than the exemplary work on heritage preservation, the city is also known for its outstanding performance in meeting the health and nutrition needs of its asset, the Bigueños.

The continuing “Mayatten Tatta” agenda of this administration has maintained its focus on positive changes in public health and safety, particularly in the field of nutrition. The Local Chief Executive together with the City Nutrition Council’s passion, dedication and resourcefulness contributed to the success of the nutrition program implementation in the City of Urdaneta. We are strengthening the road that has made a positive impact on our children of the future. Through careful planning, seamless execution and constant monitoring we are able to reach milestones.
