Radyo Kausbawan

Palompon is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Leyte. It is composed of 50 barangays.
The 2015 Census of Population conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority reported that Palompon has a total population of 58,508. This population is distributed over 126.07 square kilometers of land.
The enchanting Kalanggaman Island, famous for its crystal-clear water, white powdery sand and long sand bars stretching on both sides of the island is the pride of Palompon.
Radyo Kausbawan was established in 2015 by the National Nutrition Council in partnership with the Palompon Institute of Technology (PIT), an educational institution that specializes in the field of Maritime Science, under the Nutriskwela Community Radio Network Program Phase IV. “Kausbawan” is a Cebuano word which means progress or development.
At the time of its establishment, the prevalence of underweight among pre-school children was 17.03%. As of 2018, the prevalence of underweight is at 9.05% (Operation Timbang Plus, NNC).
DYNG-FM 103.1 RADYO KAUSBAWAN is located at the Second Floor, CAS Building, Palompon Institute of Technology, Evangelista Street, Palompon, Leyte. It began broadcasting on 11 March 2015. The radio station can be clearly heard in 43 out of 50 barangays of the municipality.

Radyo Kabag-uhan

Region V- Cataingan, Masbate
Cataingan is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Masbate. It is composed of 36 barangays.
The 2015 Census of Population conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority reported that Cataingan has a total population of 50,327. This population is distributed over 191.64 square kilometers of land.
Cataingan is endowed with scenic natural attractions, such as white sand beaches, caves and natural springs. Khokak Beach Resort is a hidden beach that can be found in Barangay San Pedro. It has a scenic view of green hills and blue waters.
Radyo Kabag-uhan was established in 2015 by the National Nutrition Council in partnership with the Municipal Government of Cataingan under the Nutriskwela Community Radio Network Program Phase IV. The Cebuano term “kabag-uhan” means change for development.
During its establishment, the prevalence of underweight among pre-school children was at 10.45%. As of 2018, the prevalence of underweight was at 13.79% (Operation Timbang Plus, NNC).
DZNT-FM 99.1 RADYO KABAG-UHAN is located at the Second Floor, BSEd Building, Cataingan Municipal College, Barangay Poblacion, Cataingan, Masbate. It began broadcasting on 8 April 2015.
The NNC upgraded Radyo Kabag-uhan’s transmitter in 2017. From 100 watts, the transmitter is now 300 watts with Effective Radiated Power (ERP) of 600 watts. The radio station can be clearly heard in 23 out of 36 barangays of the municipality.

Radyo Kasaranay
DZNQ-FM 96.7 MHz
CAR - Luna, Apayao
Luna is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Apayao. It is composed of 22 barangays.
The 2015 Census of Population conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority reported that Luna has a total population of 19,063. This population is distributed over 606.04 square kilometers of land.
Luna projects a picture of verdant plains, mountains and hills. It is one of the best places for cave-hopping, as the Nalvo Cave, Lussok Crystal Cave and Allabang Cave are just three of the seven caves that surround the municipality.
The Apayao State College (ASC) serves the people of Apayao and nearby provinces through its solid and excellent functions in instruction, research, extension and production.
Radyo Kasaranay was established in 2015 by the National Nutrition Council in partnership with ASC under the Nutriskwela Community Radio Network Program Phase IV. “Kasaranay” in Ilocano means brotherhood.
During its establishment, the prevalence of underweight among pre-school children was at 7.15%. As of 2018, the prevalence of underweight is at 7.73% (Operation Timbang Plus, NNC).
DZNQ-FM 96.7 RADYO KASARANAY is located at the Ground Floor, Apayao State College-Luna Campus, Barangay Poblacion Norte, Luna, Apayao. It began broadcasting on 29 April 2015.
The NNC upgraded Radyo Kasaranay’s transmitter in 2017. From 100 watts, the transmitter is now 300 watts with Effective Radiated Power (ERP) of 600 watts. The radio station can be clearly heard in 17 out of 22 barangays of the municipality.

Radyo Kamalindig

MiMaRoPa -Buenavista, Marinduque
Buenavista is a 4th class municipality in the province of Marinduque. It is composed of 15 barangays.
The 2015 Census of Population conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority reported that Buenavista has a total population of 23,988. This population is distributed over 81.25 square kilometers of land.
As an island of volcanic origin, hot springs are a common feature in the island. It boasts of dive sites in the vicinity of the Tres Reyes Islands, three uninhabited islets named after the Three Kings.
Radyo Kamalindig was established in 2015 by the National Nutrition Council in partnership with the Municipal Government of Buenavista under the Nutriskwela Community Radio Network Program Phase IV. The term “kamalindig” is derived from Mt. Malindig in Buenavista. The Community Radio Council adopted the term kamalindig to infer that the community is protecting the forest and its environment.
During its establishment, the prevalence of underweight among pre-school children was at 9.51%. As of 2018, the prevalence of underweight is at 4.46% (Operation Timbang Plus, NNC).
DZNS-FM 94.1 RADYO KAMALINDIG is located at the Old Telecommunications Office, Municipal Hall Compound, Barangay Uno, Buenavista, Marinduque. It began broadcasting on 18 March 2015.
The NNC upgraded Radyo Kamalindig’s transmitter in 2017. From 100 watts, the transmitter is now 300 watts with Effective Radiated Power (ERP) of 600 watts. The radio station can be clearly heard in 13 out of 15 barangays of the municipality.

Radyo Kasalip

Pasil is a 5th class municipality in the province of Kalinga in the Cordillera Administrative Region. It is composed of 14 barangays.
The 2015 Census of Population conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority reported that Pasil has a total population of 9,644. This population is distributed over 189.00 square kilometers of land.
Pasil has received several citations for being the first town in the province to establish on-line civil registry system.
Radyo Kasalip was established in 2015 by the National Nutrition Council in partnership with the Municipal Government of Pasil under the Nutriskwela Community Radio Network Program Phase IV. “Kasalip” in Kalinga means dance for unity in the community.
During its establishment, the prevalence of underweight among pre-school children was at 5.30%. As of 2018, the prevalence of underweight was at 4.02% (Operation Timbang Plus, NNC).
DZNR-FM 96.7 RADYO KASALIP is located at the Second Floor, Municipal Bldg., Amdalao, Pasil, Kalinga. It began airing on 25 April 2015. The radio station can be clearly heard in 10 out of 14 barangays of the municipality.

Radyo Kabinnadang

Region I - Cervantes, Ilocos Sur
Cervantes is a 4th class municipality in the province of Ilocos Sur in Region 1. It is composed of 13 barangays.
The 2015 Census of Population conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority reported that Cervantes has a total population of 17,211. This population is distributed over 234.70 square kilometers of land.
Cervantes is considered as the summer capital of Ilocos Sur because of its cool weather similar with the adjacent provinces of Benguet and Mountain Province.
The Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College (ISPSC) is mandated to provide professional and technical training in the undergraduate and the graduate levels in the fields of economics, agriculture, fishery, trade, home industry, engineering, education, forest research and conservation, management, finance, accounting and business administration, public administration and other fields. The Cervantes campus is part of the south cluster of campuses of the ISPSC system.
Radyo Kabinnadang was established in 2015 by the National Nutrition Council in partnership with ISPSC under the Nutriskwela Community Radio Network Program Phase IV. In the Ilocano dialect “kabinnadang” means partner in development or progress.
During its establishment, the prevalence of underweight among pre-school children was at 4.10%. As of 2018, the prevalence of underweight was at 4.07% (Operation Timbang Plus, NNC).
DZNP-FM 93.5 RADYO KABINNADANG is located at ISPSC-Cervantes Campus, Barangay Rosario, Cervantes, Ilocos Sur. It began broadcasting on 01 June 2015.
The NNC upgraded Radyo Kabinnadang’s transmitter on 30 August 2017. From 100 watts, the transmitter is now 300 watts with Effective Radiated Power (ERP) of 600 watts. The radio station can be clearly heard in 11 out of 13 barangays of the municipality.
