Select station personnel from the 10 new Nutriskwela Community Radio Stations gathered for the National Training on Community Radio Broadcasting held recently.
The National Training on Community Radio Broadcasting was the first of the two phases of trainings provided by the National Nutrition Council (NNC) for the 10 new radio stations. Specifically, the national training focused only on the station personnel so they can be familiar with the Nutriskwela Community Radio Network program and the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition 2017-2022. They were also trained on the technical aspects of operating a community radio such as skills in program design, radio news writing and anchoring and new media management. They were also taught the basic requirements in managing a community radio station and the need to abide with the Nutriskwela community radio station policy, editorial policy, and government regulations.
