Bansud is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Oriental Mindoro. It is composed of 13 barangays.
The 2015 Census of Population conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority reported that Bansud has a total population of 40,992. This population is distributed over 343.47 square kilometers of land.
The name of the town is said to be derived from “basud” meaning “ delta”, where the Mangyans, the aborigines of Mindoro settled near the mouth of the river, or the delta. Basud has since become Bansud. The town is known for growing the best-tasting banana variety.
The Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Bansud Campus or PUP-Bansud is one of the campuses of the PUP System. The campus was created through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the University and the Municipal Government of Bansud. The school offers Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, and Diploma in Office Management Technology.
In 2013, Radyo Kaunlaran was established by the National Nutrition Council in partnership with PUP and the Local Government of Bansud under the Nutriskwela Community Radio Network Program Phase III. “Kaunlaran” is a Filipino word for progress.
During its establishment, the prevalence of underweight among pre-school children was at 10.14%. As of 2018, the prevalence of underweight is at 8.39% (Operation Timbang Plus, NNC).
DZNI-FM 99.7 RADYO KAUNLARAN is located at the Information Office, Polytechnic University of the Philippines- Bansud Campus, Barangay Poblacion, Bansud, Oriental Mindoro. It began broadcasting on 1 March 2013.
The NNC upgraded Radyo Kaunlaran’s transmitter in 2016. From 100 watts, the transmitter is now 300 watts with Effective Radiated Power (ERP) of 600 watts. The radio station can be clearly heard in 12 out of 13 barangays of the municipality.

Radyo Kayvayvanan

Region II - Basco, Batanes
Batanes, known as the "Home of the Winds," is the smallest and northernmost province of the Philippines. It comprises ten islands, three of which are inhabited. The province is home to the Ivatans who are nationally acclaimed as the “True Insulares”. The province of Batanes was given the Nutrition Honor Award by the National Nutrition Council in 2012.
In 2013, Radyo Kayvayvanan was established by the National Nutrition Council in partnership with the Provincial Government of Batanes under the Nutriskwela Community Radio Network Program Phase III. “Kayvayvanan” is the Ivatan word for friendship.
During its establishment, the prevalence of underweight among pre-school children in the entire province was at 1.28% (Operation Timbang Plus, NNC).
DZNB-FM 97.5 RADYO KAYVAYVANAN is located at TESDA Building, Barangay San Antonio in Basco. It began broadcasting on 10 April 2013.
The NNC upgraded Radyo Kayvayvanan’s transmitter in 2015. From 100 watts, the transmitter is now 300 watts with Effective Radiated Power (ERP) of 600 watts. The radio station can be clearly heard in 3 out of 6 municipalities of the province.

Radyo Kazalimbago
DXAU-FM 90.1 MHz
BARMM - Matanog, Maguindanao
Matanog is a 4th class municipality in the province of Maguindanao in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 29,770 people.
Radyo Kazalimbago was established in 2019 by the National Nutrition Council in partnership with the Municipal Government of Matanog under Phase VI of the Nutriskwela Community Radio Network Program.
At the time of its establishment, the prevalence of underweight among pre-school children was 5.97% and stunting was 8.24% (2018 Operation Timbang Plus, NNC).
DXAU- FM 90.1 RADYO KAZALIMBAGO started airing on 18 June 2019. The radio station can be clearly heard in 5 out of 8 barangays of the municipality.
“Kazalimbago” is an Iranon word meaning “new”.

Radyo Kadulangan
DXAO-FM 92.1 MHz
Region 12 - Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat
Kalamansig is a 1st class municipality in the province of Sultan Kudarat in SOCCSKSARGEN or Central Mindanao Region. According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 49,059 people.
The main means of livelihood of the people is farming and fishing. The municipality's marine environment is home to various species of marine wildlife and plants, the most important of which is the giant tamilok, the largest shipworm species in the world. The species can only be found within the area, and nowhere else in the world, making Kalamansig an important biodiversity area.
Radyo Kadulangan was established in 2019 by the National Nutrition Council in partnership with the Municipal Government of Kalamansig under Phase VI of the Nutriskwela Community Radio Network Program.
At the time of its establishment, the prevalence of underweight among pre-school children was 68.98% and stunting was 18.35% (2018 Operation Timbang Plus, NNC).
DXAO- FM 92.1 RADYO KADULANGAN started airing on 12 June 2019. The radio station can be clearly heard in 9 out of 15 barangays of the municipality.
Kadulangan is derived from the word ‘dulangan”, which refers to the Dulangan Manobo tribe present in Kalamansig. The Dulangan people are the first group of people to settle in the area, cultivate its land and fish from the nearby sea.
