Although starchy vegetables are high-quality carbohydrates that are packed with beneficial nutrients, they are also more calorie-dense than other, water-rich types, so it's important to consume them in moderation.
Vegetables high in fiber, vitamins, and minerals are excellent sources of high-quality carbs. When prepared healthfully, starchy vegetables like sweet and white potatoes, winter squash, peas, and maize offer plenty of nutrition and are a great addition to your diet compared to poor-quality carbs like white bread, ordinary pasta, and other refined-grain goods. To balance your servings, especially if you're attempting to lose weight, it's crucial to remember that starchy veggies have more calories than non-starchy vegetables (such as leafy greens, broccoli, green beans, cauliflower, cucumbers, peppers, carrots, celery, and mushroom). People with diabetes need to be especially careful about reducing their intake of starchy vegetables since they raise blood sugar levels higher than non-starchy varieties due to their high starch content.

Breastfeeding plays an important role in managing the double burden of malnutrition. It provides food security and reduces inequalities. Protecting, promoting, and supporting breastfeeding address inequalities that stand in the way of sustainable development.

Lung problems are a side effect of asthma. Asthma is one of the most prevalent chronic disorders in children, but it can also affect adults. Wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, and coughing are symptoms of asthma that occur at night or in the early morning. If you have asthma, it's something you have constantly, yet attacks only happen when your lungs are bothered. About 5 million Filipinos of all ages suffer from asthma, a significant medical illness with an increasing incidence. This lifelong condition is marked by periods of exacerbations, which, if not promptly treated, may be fatal.

A balanced diet is especially important for breast cancer. Proper nutrition can help your body recover from cancer treatment, which has many side effects such as mouth sores, loss of appetite, nausea, and vomiting. It can keep your body tissues healthy, reduce cancer symptoms and side effects of treatment, keep your immune system strong, keep you fit, reduce fatigue, and improve your quality of life.
If you have breast cancer, you are most likely taking chemotherapy, hormone therapy, or HER2-targeted drugs. Treatment depends on the type and stage of cancer. Radiation may also be required. Among the various side effects, you may lose your appetite. These treatments are usually given after breast-conserving surgery (BCS) (also called lumpectomy, partial mastectomy, or total mastectomy). Coping with treatment and body changes can be difficult. Studies show that about 50% of breast cancer patients experience depression and anxiety. Because breast cancer can have a huge impact on your physical and mental health, it can negatively affect your appetite. We've created this guide to make eating right easy.

The most common cause of mortality worldwide is heart disease, according to the European Guidelines on Cardiovascular Disease Prevention in Clinical Practice dated 2012. An increased risk of heart disease is associated with high cholesterol levels, particularly "bad" LDL. High triglycerides and low "good" HDL cholesterol are also connected to an increased risk. Kerri-Ann Jennings of Healthline states that a person's diet is extremely important in determining how good their cholesterol levels are. Consuming meals that maintain appropriate cholesterol levels can help prevent health problems, such as a heart attack or stroke.

What should we do, after turning four decades old? After these years of existence, enough time had passed to develop ingrained habits. At 40, we should take a close, honest look at our lives on a physical, mental, and spiritual level.
Our career, health, relationships, and even the way we eat may all be the subject of this self-reflection. Do we give everything that matters to us the same amount of time? Or are we assuming too much about certain areas of our lives?
