Cebu City – Social media has been an effective medium to advocate for health and nutrition campaigns nowadays considering the minimal movement of the majority and that most families stay at home. This along with the other media formats were utilized by the public as their source of information.
After the successful conduct of the Family Development Sessions (FDS) On-Air, NNC 7 together with the DSWD RFO7 and the three Nutriskwela community radio stations in Central Visayas will soon launch the FDS Social Media Challenge this coming October 2021.
The online challenge will be dubbed “Nutri Word Puzzle” and will be open to all beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) in Central Visayas. The said activity intends to incorporate the importance of proper nutrition to the 4Ps beneficiaries and their families.

Rice

Sweet potato

Red meat

During pregnancy, the mother ought to supply her baby with the needed vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients for his/her proper growth and development. - Folic acid is a form of folate that is a B-Vitamin that helps in the brain and spine development of the growing baby.
