Led by CNAO Rosa Jeannie P. Bolivar and City Administrator and Agriculturist, Mr. Ruben De los Santos, first batch was held in the morning of 27 September, with 60 beneficiaries composed of pregnant and lactating mothers, and mothers with 0-23 months old children. The same number of beneficiaries attended the second batch on the same day.  This was supported by their respective Barangay Captains and Chairs of the Committee on Health with the very hardworking BNSs and BHWs.  At present, barangay communal gardens are now in place in most barangays. Soon, these vegetables will be harvested not only in the communal gardens but in their own homes too.  Meantime, the ECCD Team has started to monitor the various barangays in their food production activities.  In fact, pechay has started to grow already. Soon, many children and mothers would enjoy eating these vegetables.  Fresh, organic vegetables, anyone?
