People may differ in many aspects, but it is undeniable that food unifies us all. It is one of our most basic and indispensable necessities. There can be moments where we need professional help to know what and how much we need to eat. There may be situations where people struggle due to deficient or excessive eating. Some may be incapable of consuming the necessary food and might need assistance in making the right diet plan to improve their health situation.
A Registered Nutritionist-Dietitian (RND) can answer these questions and more for you.
Some people say that anyone can become a nutritionist but not a dietitian. A nutritionist refers to anyone who finished a degree in nutrition but is not necessarily certified nor licensed. Their work is to provide individuals or populations with knowledge about general nutrition, food, and health, which focuses on food behavior.
