An Ocular Visit was conducted to Nutriskwela Radio Stations, namely Radyo Kaabyanan 88.5 FM and Radyo Kaimaw. During the monitoring, the staffs shared that the Radio stations were used to disseminate information regarding COVID-19.

June 17, 2021 - The Regional Bantay Asin Task Force conducted a monitoring visit in Estancia, Iloilo particularly at the municipal market and other establishments that sell and use "asin" or salt. The team interviewed and collected salt samples from the distributors, sellers, and users as part of the monitoring activity. The collected salt samples will be endorsed to DOST Laboratory for testing and analysis. The team composed of NNC Region VI lead by RNPC Reginaldo Guillen with NOI Romela Dee Candoliza and NOI Roselle Eve Ferrer, partners from PNP Region VI lead by PLTCOL Cynthia Peña joined by PMAJ Katherine Gebusion, LT Ma. Roela Cadiz, PCpl John Jay Rome and partner from UPV-BIDANI, John Bert C. Tutisura. The team was assisted by SI Denia Sicad and MNAO Catalina Delos Santos during the meeting with the Market Administrator and interview with the target respondent. They had a brief courtesy call with Mayor Melina Requinto that is supportive of the activity, she committed to call a meeting with the salt wholesalers and retailers for a reorientation of ASIN Law and the National Salt Iodization Program. This is part of the RBATF annual activity to ensure that all salt manufacturers/producers adhere to RA 8172 or the ASIN Law, all salt should be iodized.

Tutok Kainan aims to provide additional food to pregnant women for 90 calendar days with priority to those who are nutritionally at-risk or undernourished. The Tutok Kainan program will be implemented to monitor and evaluate an integrated nutrition program that helps ensure delivery of complementary early childhood care and development services in the first 1000 days pursuant to RA 11148.

Nutribun was originally designed as a convenient “ready-to-eat complete meal” for public elementary school feeding programs to combat child malnutrition in the Philippines. Nutrition-wise, the Department of Science and Technology-Food and Nutrition Research Institute (DOST-FNRI), a partner of the National Nutrition Council, enhanced the nutribun.

The Negros Island Federation of Agrarian Reform Cooperatives (NIFARCO) packed and delivered the fresh commodities to all "Tutok Kainan" target LGUs. The commodities regularly delivered are being used for the wet ration that started on 5 June 2021. Tutok Kainan focal persons and Nutrition Action Officers of the target LGUs received and counterchecked the quantity and quality of goods delivered. Healthy and nutritious hot meals were distributed to nutritionally-at-risk pregnant women beneficiaries of the Tutok Kainan Supplementation Program for 30 days.
