Cebu City – It’s been almost three months since the aftermath of Typhoon Odette rocked the province of Cebu, four other provinces of Visayas, Surigao del Norte and Dinagat islands of Mindanao, and in the island of Palawan in Luzon on 19 December 2021. A lot of establishments including NNC’s Nutriskwela Community Radio Network Programs (NCRNP) were greatly affected. The operations and functionality of these radio stations were hampered as antennas, transmitters and office structures were destroyed. Since then, recovery efforts have been made and the Nutriskwela Radio Stations are slowly getting up and made efforts to be back in the airwaves to continue its mission of disseminating correct, current, and relevant nutrition and developmental information to their captive audiences.
