Siaton

Siaton, Negros Oriental – The newly reorganized Municipal Nutrition Committee (MNC) of this considered ‘rice bowl’ of south Negros affirmed their support and participation in the Tutok Kainan Supplementation Program (TKSP) for children six to 23 months old in the municipality. This move was one of the agreements during the 28 February 2022 meeting presided by Hon. Cezanne Fritz H. Diaz and was participated by 15 members of MNC.

NNC proposes Cebu City – The National Nutrition Council Region 7, through ND II Shaira Camille T. Labastida, attended the virtual meeting of the Social Development Committee of PPDO Negros Oriental on February 15, 2022, via Microsoft Teams. The meeting was attended by 20 participants from the different member agencies and stakeholders.

BNS Summit 1

Tagbilaran City, Bohol – On 16 March 2022, the Bohol Provincial Nutrition Committee (PNC), together with Bohol Provincial Federation of Barangay Nutrition Scholars’ Association staged their 2022 Barangay Nutrition Scholar (BNS) Summit. The annual gathering of frontline nutrition workers themed “BNS kaabag sa pagbangon, saktong nutrisyon ipadayon!” focused on the important roles BNSs play in building back better and upholding the nutritional status in their locality.

RNC TWG 1st

Cebu City – The National Nutrition Council Region VII convened the 1^st RNC-TWG meeting on the 22^ndof February 2022 via Zoom conference. It was held back-to-back with the Regional Nutrition Cluster, Regional Bantay Asin Task Force, and ECCD TWG for CY 2022.

Talibon, Bohol - The Municipal Nutrition Committee of Talibon, Bohol, chaired by Hon. Janette Aurestila-Garcia, purchased a WYD Salt Checker kit to monitor iodine content of salt in the markets of this progressive town of the province.
