Pancil, Barili, Cebu - When Barangay Pancil became 3rd in the 2021 ranking of having the highest overweight and obese child in the municipality of Barili, the Barangay Nutrition Committee (BNC) was alarmed and immediately looked for intermediate actions to solve the problem. They then implemented the strengthened breastfeeding promotion in the barangay in hopes to lessen the number of current and future obese children

The average calorie intake for men is around 2,500kcal a day while the average calorie intake for women is around 2,000kcal a day. However, these values still vary depending on age, size, and the degree of the physical activities we do daily.
