Binigyan muli ng karangalan ng CaLaBaRZon ang Tagaytay City sa pagtanghal kay Ms. Marietta “Mayet” Dogelio bilang 2021 Regional Local Nutrition Program Coordinator ng 2019.
Sa kanyang 32 years na pagsisilbi bilang CNPC, si Ms. Mayet ay may malaking bahagi sa likod ng matagumpay na paglaban ng malnutrition sa lungsod. Siya ay nagsimula bilang isang nutrition worker noong 1984.

To optimize the delivery of social services and programs for child and youth welfare, the NNC 4A participated in Calabarzon’s Child Friendly Local Governance Audit (CFLGA) last December 6 to 8 as one of its audit members.
The CFLGA uses the Knowledge Management System (KMS) to assess LGU performances and ensure the progressive realization of children’s rights to survival, development, protection and participation in regions.

The NNC-Calabarzon conducted the launching of the Regional “Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) Movement 3.O” last December 3 at BSA Twin Towers Hotel in Mandaluyong City, with numerous distinguished guests and stakeholders joining the blended online-onsite milestone event.
The launching which is significantly seen as a call to create more nutrition champions in the region, will intensify and scale-up nutrition programs through collaborations with the different sectors. It will also serve to encourage policy makers, local implementers and stakeholders to engage, inspire and invest more keenly in nutrition to help address and fight malnutrition.

The October and November four-day online “National Training on Nutrition Shepherding” which involves a peer-to-peer platform of guiding and mentoring low-performing LGUs in the area of nutrition -- augurs well for strengthening the mobilization of Calabarzon LGUs for nutrition improvement. It will also firm up knowledge and skills on nutrition program management.
The national training was attended by representatives from 17 regions, including the NNC-CaLaBarZon and members of the Regional Technical Working Group (RTWG) on Nutrition.

Pasig City (PIA)-- The National Nutrition CALABARZON awards local government units for nutrition initiatives at the 2021 Regional Nutrition Awarding Ceremony (RNAC) held simultaneously onsite at the St. Francis Square, and online via Zoom this December 3, 2021.
Similar to the RNAC 2020, this year's onsite guests are severely limited due to health protocols observed due to the pandemic.

Noong Disyembre 13, nakiisa ang NNC Calabarzon sa “Rehabilitation at Recovery Plan (RRP) Investment Program” teleconference upang maibahagi ang mga naipatutupad nilang mga Programs and Projects (PPs) para sa covid19 pandemic.
Ang PPs ay naisumite na sa Committee on Recovery and Rehabilitation ng Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (DRRM).
