The Municipality of T'boli conducted its BNS Refresher's Course and Nutrition Program Orientation for the Barangay Nutrition Committee on October 3 and 4, 2022 at Sunrise Garden Lake Resort, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato. Thirty-one Barangay Nutrition Scholars and seven BNC Chairman and Members were in attendance.
The objective of the activity is to refresh the knowledge and abilities of existing BNS and to equip newly appointed BNS with nutrition program, assessment, and management expertise. On the aforementioned activity, the significance of correct data collection and validation was also emphasized.

29-30 September 2022-The National Nutrition Council Region XII is closely monitoring the impacts of the implementation of the Tutok Kainan DSP in the region. This is done to further review and evaluate whether the program was appropriately and timely done at the local level.
This time, monitoring was conducted in the Municipalities of Banga and T'boli, which has 90 and 47 (6–23-month-old) Tutok Kainan DSP child beneficiaries, respectively.

The Tutok Kainan Dietary Supplementation Program has been implemented in the province of South Cotabato since May 30, 2022. This program aims to rehabilitate and improve the nutritional status of stunted, wasted, and underweight children under two years old in the province.
Flora May M. Madrona, RND, DMO II from the National Nutrition Council Region XII travels to Surallah, Norala, and Tupi, South Cotabato, to assess the first impact of the program. In addition, the visits encourage the Nutrition Program Coordinators and the Nutrition Action Officer to diligently complete the monitoring and evaluation tool of the Tutok Kainan DSP, which serves as the foundation for the National Nutrition Council's assessment of the program's progress at the municipal level.

28-29 September 2022-The National Nutrition Council of the SOCCSKSARGEN Region, headed by RNPC Retsebeth Laquihon, participated the 50th Regional Development Council Week Celebration for 2022 with the theme: "Mabulawanong RDC DOSE: Celebrating 50 Years of Regional Development".
The CY 2022 RDC Week Celebration was held at Paraiso Verde in Koronadal City to commemorate the golden year anniversary of the establishment of RDCs in the country, as well as their contribution to advancing inclusive and sustainable socio-economic growth in the Region and the country as a whole.

The Regional Nutrition Evaluation Team (RNET) members composed of National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and National Nutrition Council (NNC) conducts monitoring and evaluation in South Cotabato Province held on September 21 at the Provincial Social Welfare and Development (PSWD) conference room. The Provincial Nutrition Action Officer (PNAO) Rudy Jimenea together with the Provincial Nutrition Committee (PNC) members from the various sectors convened to express their support to the said activity.
The team evaluates the progress of the implementation of the Provincial Nutrition Action Plan anchored in the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN) in South Cotabato province based on Local Government Units’ performance in the management and implementation of the sectoral nutrition programs and service delivery system through the Updated Nutrition Monitoring and Evaluation Protocol or MELLPI Pro tool.

20-22 SEPTEMBER 2022-The Municipality of Arakan held its BNS Refresher Training at 3A Brothers Café, Poblacion, Arakan, Cotabato. The activity was attended by 39 Barangay Nutrition Scholars facilitated by MNAO Michelle Habibun and Municipal Nutrition Program Coordinators.
During the activity, DMOs II Danah Pearl Aurel and Marie Jane Lihao served as Resource Persons. The Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition, BNS Program, Nutrition Assessment, BNAP Formulation, and EOPT were among the topics covered. The BNSs also went through the BNS Forms.
