Cebu City – “Akong panghinaot na mapun-an pa ang akong kaalam kabahin sa saktong nutrisyon human aning klaseha, aron magamit nako sa akong mga anak ug ma-share sa akong mga kaila” (I hope to learn more information on proper nutrition after the classes so that I can share them to my future children as well as my loved ones). This is one of the few expectations of Ms. Mary Rose B. Anuba of Brgy. Cabitoonan, Toledo City, one of the official students of the idol ko si Nanay Nutrition School On-Air Season 2 during the virtual orientation held on 06 July 2022 via zoom conference call.
Forty-one (41) official students attended the virtual orientation facilitated by NNC 7. The orientation is part of the preparatory activity of the school on-air. The orientation served as a venue for the virtual students to learn the rules and regulations of the program and the lessons to be learned all throughout the sessions. The activity also allows them to share their expectations and commitment to the program. ND II Franz Cassandra R. Ontina presented the mechanics of the program while NO III Nasudi G. Soluta facilitated the pre-testing activity.

Manjuyod, Negros Oriental - The municipality of Manjuyod concludes both Nutrition Month (NM) and Disaster Resilience Month (DRM) thru Nutrifit Walk and Roadside Clean-up Drive. This was held on 29 July 2022. The route started at crossing Campuyo and ended at White Sandbar Jump-off area. The activity was attended by 350 participants composed of the municipal employees, men in uniform, Pantawid Pamilya beneficiaries of barangay Campuyo and other stakeholders.

Carmen, Cebu – The municipality of Carmen initiated activities to promote concerns of women. Celebrated every 20-26 June, cervical awareness week reminds women to have regular check-up to determine if they are at risk of this type of cancer affecting women of reproductive age. Women who have had 3 or more full-term pregnancies have an increased risk of developing cervical cancer.
Safe motherhood week on the other hand celebrated every 4 to 20 May aims to raise awareness regarding the proper maternal care during pregnancy, childbirth, lactation period and postnatal care, minimize maternal mortality and encourages mothers to seek proper medical and nutritional care for her and her baby. The real goal is to provide better facilities, different services to prevent maternal and child mortality during labor.
