The year 2020 has just begun and along with this is the New Year's resolution to have a healthier lifestyle. The new year also headstarts the festivals here in Region VI. There is the Ati-atihan festival held on the 3rd week of January in Kalibo, Aklan. There is the Sinulog Sa Kabankalan: the grand celebration of Southern Negros held every 3rd Sunday of January. Iloilo City’s pride of festivals, the Dinagyang festival is held every 4^th Sunday of the same month.

NI Meets Negros Occidental Governor on Stunting and First 1000 Days 2 b

The Province of Iloilo received P 933,712.15 cheque for the Early Childhood Care and Development in the 1^st 1000 Days (ECCD-F1K) program. RNPC Nona B. Tad-y together with NO III Sheryl Sedantes and ECCD-F1K Provincial Nutrition Coordinator Gelaine Pet Trabado turned over the cheque.It was received by Honorable Arthur R. Defensor, Jr., Governor and Chair, Provincial Nutrition Committee together with Dr. Patricia Grace Trabado, PHO II and ECCD Focal Person.
