Personnels of NNC Region 7 and 8 during the Inter Island Team Bulding 2012Boracay Is.,Malay, Aklan - The sky was ready to fall, the winds were harsh and the waves were cruel but that didn't deter the NNC Region 7 & Region 8 staff from reaching their destination last Wednesday, August 15, 2012 to the beautiful island of Boracay, for the Visayas island cluster team building activity.

Sadly, the host region Western Visayas, was not able to make it due to conflict in their schedule. Still, 14 NNC staff members packed up both their swimsuits and rain gears and boarded planes, boats and a variety of land vehicles just to get to the famed white beaches for the well deserved break from the hectic NNC workload for the two day team building activity. Fortunately, along with the sunny smiles and the hopes for good weather, the rain did stop giving a time for the group to splash around in the clear waters and play around in the sand.

According to Dr. Parolita A. Mission, RNPC of NNC 7, this activity was planned with the objective of strengthening the bond between and among the staff in the region, and the Visayas cluster and establishing a work support group to improve productivity and enhance nutrition service for the people of the Visayas. The activity was facilitated by DOH-CHD 6, Nurse V, Ms. Medalla P. Balandria who emphasized the importance of the individual in a group.

Games were played, exercises were done and realizations were made as individuals shared their happiest and not so happy moments in their childhood. In the end, they bonded and empathized with each other as they shared trade and personal secrets making them each unique being created by God.  In attendance were Dr. Parolita A. Mission, RNPC; Ms. Susan Y. Orpilla, NO III; Mr. Dave F. Bargamento, NO II, Ms. Nasudi G. Soluta, NO I; Ms. Ricarda M. Limocon, AA VI; Ms. Eula Althea R. Mayol, AA VI and Mr. Eduardo B.
