Annually, the NNC is mandated to spearhead the nutrition month celebration and call for collaborative efforts of all sectors – government agencies, non-government organizations, civil society, local government units, business, academe, communities, and families. For 2021, the focus of the NM is to raise awareness and mobilize actions to intensify the first 1000 days strategy as demonstrated by the theme “Malnutrisyon Patuloy na Labanan, First 1000 Days Tutukan!”. Everyone is highly encouraged to participate in the regionwide celebration.

National Nutrition Council - MIMAROPA, in cooperation with the Palawan, Romblon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Occidental Mindoro Nutrition Communicators (PROMO Nutri Com) conducted the 2021 MIMAROPA Regional Nutrition Month (NM) Launching and Virtual Presser on 1 July 2021 via Zoom Application and streamed live on NNC MIMAROPA's Facebook page. An estimated total of 200 participants from both platforms attended and took part in the live activity.

The National Nutrition Council (NNC) MIMAROPA and Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) MIMAROPA has formally sealed their partnership for Tutok Kainan Dietary Supplementation Program (DSP) implementation in the provinces of Occidental Mindoro and Marinduque. The event was held on 9 June 2021 at BSA Towers, Mandaluyong City.
Several dignitaries took part in the activity, including Chair of Inter-Agency Task Force on Zero Hunger Cabinet Secretary Atty. Karlo Alexei B. Nograles; NNC Executive Director Dr. Azucena M. Dayanghirang, MCH, CESO III; DAR Undersecretary for Support Services Office Atty. Emily O. Padilla; DAR Undersecretary for Policy and Planning and Research Office Ms. Virginia N. Orogo; DAR Assistant Secretary for Support Services Office Atty. Milagros Isabel A. Cristobal; DAR MIMAROPA Regional Director Atty. Marvin V. Bernal and DAR MIMAROPA Assistant Regional Director Ms. Lilibeth G. Lee, CESO IV. RD Bernal and Nutrition Program Coordinator and OIC, NNC MIMAROPA Ms. Ma. Eileen B. Blanco gave their special messages and commitment for the success of the program.
