National Nutrition Council MIMAROPA joined the meeting of the Radyo Kamalindig Community Radio Council (CRC) in Buenavista, Marinduque via Zoom Application today, 21 April 2021. It was attended by NPC Ma. Eileen Blanco, NO III Camille Chen, and NO II Bianca Estrella, with 18 participants from Radyo Kamalindig CRC composed of officers, members, and radio station personnel.

NNC MIMAROPA conducted its virtual focus group discussion (FGD) with Indigenous People (IP) stakeholders in preparation for the Philippine Multisectoral Nutrition Project (PMNP) or Kasapatan at Ugnayan ng Mamamayan sa Tamang Pagkain at Nutrisyon (KUMAIN) on 13 April 2021 via Zoom Application. The session targets to gather inputs and suggestions from prospective IP stakeholders and beneficiaries and to assess the health and nutrition situation of the seven (7) municipalities from Occidental Mindoro and seven (7) municipalities from Romblon as proposed target areas of PMNP.

The National Nutrition Council MIMAROPA conducted a virtual Focus Group Discussion (FGD) for the Philippine Multi-sectoral Nutrition Project (PMNP), also known as the Kasapatan at Ugnayan ng Mamamayan sa Akmang Pagkain at Nutrisyon (KUMAIN) Project in Occidental Mindoro and Romblon. The activity held on 12 April through Zoom application in two separate sessions.
The FGD was participated by the local nutrition implementers in the identified local government units, which included the Provincial/Municipal Nutrition Action Officers, District Nutrition Program Coordinators, Barangay Health Worker representatives, Barangay Nutrition Scholars and Child Daycare Workers.
